Dear friends,

We’re sorry for the recent problems — sometimes the site wouldn’t load or said it was unavailable.

The reason is that our playback site runs on CF Workers (Cloudflare Workers). The free plan has a limit of 100,000 requests per day. This isn’t 100,000 people; it counts all actions combined, such as opening pages, loading lists, and clicking play. Once we hit that limit for the day, the service gets paused, which is why you couldn’t get in.

To fix this, the Fanta Rabbit team paid out of pocket to upgrade to the Workers paid plan, which costs $5 per month. After the upgrade, the number of requests we can handle each day has increased a lot, so under normal circumstances, the site shouldn’t go down again because the quota was exceeded.

One thing to note: we’ve only activated this paid plan for one month for now. Whether we renew it next month is still something we need to discuss. So during this National Day holiday, feel free to use it and enjoy it — and please cherish it. Just watch normally, and please don’t spam requests, so more friends can access it smoothly.

Finally, thank you so much for your support. We can see that the site’s traffic is really high — about 2,000–3,000 people visit every day — and that’s a huge encouragement to us. Thank you to everyone who comes to hang out at the Fanta Rabbit Playback Site!
